   Robert Gotovtsev

was born on November 24, 1938 in Kostroma region of Russia.
Landscape painter. High technical education.
Being an officer of Soviet Army (1959-1984), managed to combain military service with creative art work. In 1961 he joint well-known Grekov studio of military painters. Under leadership of of maestro But (1961-1972) he upgraded his profrssional skills and got good experience in painting. Large influence on crative potention of Robert Gotovtsev had famous Russian artist À. I. Ìàrshàê (Leningrad) and landscape painter S. G. Grigoryev (Àrchangels). Robert Gotovtsev is a memeber of Association of Russian painters in Moldova (M-ART). In 1984 his military career was over and almost all his time he spent painting (mostly landscapes). Being a talented painter and sensetive person he managed to express poetical beauty of Russian nature. Despite rather small sizez his canvases prepossess us with sincerity and high level mastery. His compositions are full of sunlight and joy. His landscapes show us views of North-European Russia, Transcarpathian, Baltic states, Southern Ural, Volga region and Moldova. But the main topic of his creative work is nature of upper part of Volga-river and Central Russia. All the landscapes are combain in series: «Seasons», «12 months», «Rememberance of North».
Óæå Over 40 years art works of Robert Gotovtsev were exposed in different exhibitions including former All-Soviet ones.

Personal exhibitions in Moldova:
1999 — Chisinau.
2004 — Chisinau.
There were exposed art works which undoubtedly proved that Robert Gotovtsev became a real master of lyric landscape. An art work «Ìàrch — wide roads. 1995» is in privat collection of the Presedent of Moldova Peter Luchinsky.
